A League Grand Final

Well the Hyundai A League is drawing to a close this weekend with last years Premiers the Brisbane Roar taking on the mighty westerners, Perth Glory.

Both sides have had a long history of supporting RADD, making sure that their fans are aware of the importance of safe road practice when watching the big games.

The likes of Massimo Murdocca, Matt Jurman and Jack Hingert from the Roar have previously leant their time to RADD, as have Shane Smeltz, Danny Vukovic, Dean Heffernan, Jacob Burns and Mile Sterjovski from the Glory.

Sober Bob TVCSA

RADD is proud to present its latest Sober Bob Television Community Service Announcement. Our best Sober Bob video to date features a whole heap of well known Territorians encouraging you to arrange a Sober Bob, or designated driver, to get you home safely after a night out.

There's nothing with having a good time, and there's nothing wrong with having a few drinks when you're out. But don't take it on the road. Too many people are lost because of drink driving.

Our trip up to the NT was a resounding success, and we met a lot of fantastic people a long the way. One group of guys from a Darwin hip hop act called DTown 3 bravely told their own personal story about drink driving.

It's been a big couple of weeks for RADD!

RADD went down to Melbourne to record our latest TVCSA with the V8 Supercar Drivers. 12 different drivers form 6 different teams lent their time to RADD to produce a few videos that will be played throughout the V8 Supercar season which kicks off this weekend in Adelaide. The first video is in the final stages of production and hopefully should be completed by the end of the week, so stay tuned!

As the new season appraoches, RADD is pleased to announce a new partnership with the V8 Supercars.

12 of the top drivers have agreed to partake in an upcoming TVCSA (Community Service Announcement) to go to air throughout the season.

RADD will be down in Melbourne this coming weekend as the drivers partake in the V8 Supercars 2012 Test Day at Sandown, filiming messages with some of the key drivers in the competition encouraging fans not to drink and drive.

Wallaby and Western Force star Dave Pocock joins RADD

Dave Pocock, star flanker for the Wallabies and the Western force, has today joined the likes of team mates Kurtley Beale, James O'Connor, Digby Ioane, Will Genia and Tatafu Polota Nau in becoming an ambassador for RADD.

Pocock donated his time to record a script in Canbera today. Western Australia's Young Australian of the Year for 2012, Pocock is an active philanthropist and has been touted by many as a future captain of Australia.

We thank Dave for his time and are extremely pleased to have him on board!

Big weekend of sport sees ambassadors shine

Last weekend was a huge weekend in sport, and RADD was extrememly proud to see some of it's ambassadors star.

In cricket, the Sydney Sixers advanced to the inaugural Big Bash League final. The side withheld a strong finishing Hobart Hurricanes to claim an 11 run victory, and RADD ambassadors Steve Smith, Brett Lee, Stuart MacGill, Steven O'Keefe and Ben Rohrer all played important roles in the win. RADD congratulates the Sixers on a fantastic accomplishment in just the first season of the Big Bash competition.

Sixers and Thunder join RADD

RADD is pleased to welcome on board a host of new ambassadors from Sydney's two Twenty20 Big Bash Teams - the Sydney Sixers and the Sydney Thunder. As the competition enters it's closing stages with finals just around the corner, it's fantastic to see the players still finding time to keep in touch with their community and spread RADDs important message.

The new ambassadors include:

RADD's Holiday Message

The silly season has finally arrrived... that time of the year where we often kick back with a few drinks with family and friends.

But the last thing you want to do is ruin this time of year for anyone. If you drink and drive that could so easily happen. Even if you're just a little bit over the limit, your concentration lapses and your ability to drive is decreased.
